When your business requires more than our Peace of Mind subscription to help you with your HR, that’s where our retained packages come in. For many businesses, having someone at the end of the phone for instant advice is great, but they also want someone in their business, and not to worry about add-on costs of work outside of their package.

We offer three levels of retained HR package; HR Adviser, HR Manager and HR Director. As the titles suggest, these packages refer to the level of involvement you’d like us to have in your business. Most of the businesses we work with find that HR Manager best suits their needs, but one of our team will advise you based on your business and your current level of HR processes.

Each package works on a rolling monthly basis, and typically gives you 7.5 hours of time each month, with the option of adding extra hours if needed (or fewer hours, if that suits you). You can use these hours exactly as you wish, with your dedicated consultant on site, working on your HR admin, or even interviewing candidates.

HR Adviser

If your business doesn’t have any HR processes, or you’re creating a dedicated provision for the first time, HR Adviser is the best place to start. This package will start with us working with you to put clear and legally compliant processes into place, including a company handbook, contracts of employment and personnel files.

HR Manager

At this level you benefit from everything you’d get at HR Adviser level, but HR Manager moves the organisation on in terms of putting in place systems and processes for people management. This includes new starter and leaver processes.

This level also works with your business to put processes into practice that will have been outlined in your handbook, such as developing an appraisal process and managing attendance.

HR Director

While we continue to work with you on all the aspects involved with our HR Adviser and HR Manager packages, our highest level of service is working with your organisation on a strategic level. We’ll assist the senior management team and board to meet your business goals through people management and development. This could be in terms of ensuring the correct levels of staff and talent to grow your business, or looking at the HR KPIs to ensure best value for money and effective use of your human resources.

The package also includes evaluation of current reward and benefit systems in order to maximise the potential of your business.

With each package you will have your own dedicated consultant working with you each month so that they get to know your business inside out. They will also aim to build relationships of trust with both managers and employees, adding value to our on-going support and relationship with you.

Each of our HR consultants is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified and has experience in operational HR.
