Whilst building a team can be key to your success, it can also be the cause of your downfall. Recruitment can be time consuming and costly (but you already know that, it’s your business). However, the cost of recruitment doesn’t always stop once your new employee joins the company, dealing with issues such as:
- Employees not following your processes… or deciding to makes their own
- Performance management
- Grievance claims……..can be frustrating, time consuming and at times, daunting.
As someone with responsibility for employees, you will be very aware of the unpredictability of people and the challenges they pose. And of course, the more people you employ, the more challenges you are likely to face.
