CMI LEVEL 5 Award in Managing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Workshops 1-5 are delivered online, with workshop 6 being in person. There is one assessment to be completed, that will need to be submitted on or before 4th October. There are also monthly study clinics for additional advice and support on completing assignments.

Wednesday 3rd May 2023
› Purpose and methods of gathering EDI data and information to inform a plan
› Developing scorecards and KPIs for EDI
› Examine methods for reporting outcomes to staff and stakeholders
Wednesday 7th June 2023
› Analyse the role and responsibilities of a manager in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion
› Evaluate leadership styles which support practice improvement in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion
› Recruiting for a diverse team
Wednesday 5th July 2023
› Tackling challenges and obstacles to inclusion
› Assess approaches for managing individuals and teams which lack commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
Wednesday 6th September 2023
› In person session, sharing application of learning from workshops 1-5 and supporting each other to develop strategies for taking EDI further once the course is completed. For those who can stay then we will have a lunch together to celebrate your achievements on the course.
