Retained HR packages

High level HR services designed to ensure that business goals are met through people management and development with the supervision of CIPD qualified consultants

The level of membership that you decide to make the most of depends on a discussion between you the business owner, and a member of our HR team. The discussion will focus on the things that you want from your HR provision, the size and type of your organisation and also your current level of HR processes.

Our consultants will then advise you on the package that best suits your business needs and explain the ways in which we are able to work together.

Many of our clients start with this package. It’s ideal for companies looking to create a dedicated HR provision as opposed to it being part of someone else’s role. It is often the package chosen when there has been no HR provision of any sort before and it is likely that a lot of the work will initially be putting key processes and documents in to place.

Our consultants will work with you to ensure compliance in all areas including a comprehensive handbook, contracts of employment and personnel files.

The consultants will continue to work with you on the more operational aspects of HR. This will include advising on people management when required such as managing maternity, performance and recruitment.

The same consultant will work with you every month so that they get to know your business inside out. They will also aim to build relationships of trust with both managers and employees, adding value to our on-going support and relationship with you.

Each of our HR consultants is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified and has experience in operational HR.

What does the HR Advisor package include?

  • Employee handbook updates: Completed annually on-site
  • Contact details for your consultant: You’ll be able to seek advice outside of dedicated days on site
  • Dedicated dates for HR delivery on site
  • Priority bookings on our varied programme of seminars and events
This package level is regularly used by clients that progress from the HR Advisor package as they now require a more detailed service. It is also used by businesses that want to update and improve their current HR input and those who simply need this service due to the size and complexity of their workforce.

HR Manager moves the organisation on in terms of putting in place systems and processes for people management. This includes new starter and leaver processes.

We continue to work with you on the more operational aspects of HR too. This will include advising on people management when required such as managing maternity, performance and recruitment.

This level also works with your business to put in to practice processes that will have been outlined in the handbook such as developing an appraisal process and managing attendance.
