Our Search for Charity Partners for 2017 This week I wanted to highlight that if you are a charity – or if you know of a charity that might benefit – there is still time to apply to be one of our Charities of the Year. Each year we offer two charities – one in Northamptonshire and the surrounding area, and one in Yorkshire – the chance to benefit from free HR services and training. So we are currently looking for our charities for 2017. If you are a charity or you want to nominate a charity, then please read on to find out more… Any charity is welcome to apply, and the winner can choose what support they receive over the year. For example, perhaps you are taking on new staff and want to get all their contracts and paperwork sorted out, or perhaps you need to make sure you’ve got everything in place for existing staff. Or maybe you would like us to help devise an appraisal system for your staff. Or perhaps you might benefit from some training – we can help with management training, customer service, delegation, assertiveness, time management, communication – you name it! 2017 will be the fourth year that we have provided charity support – charities that have benefitted from in the past include Brain Tumour Research and Support, Adrenaline Alley, KidsAid, and this year’s Charities of the Year winner, IPSEA and Touchstone. As MD of Gateway I feel it’s important to support the local economy, and helping charities is something that is close to my and the whole team’s heart. I totally understand that often for charities HR support and training is sometimes not financially viable. But it is essential. I know I would say that, wouldn’t I? But it really I do feel that an organisation that looks after its people, will function more efficiently in so many ways. So if you’re interested, then please get in touch. To apply, all you need to do is let us know a bit about your charity and explain how you would use a year’s free HR services and training and how your charity would benefit. Please apply to Clare Hargrave by Wednesday 30th November – email@example.com. We look forward to hearing from you! Best wishes, Emma firstname.lastname@example.org 01536...read more
